The focus of this class is to help anybody who aims for it to find his or her own vocal power to sing, in accordance with the student's skills and qualities. My name is Auriane, I live and work between Berlin and Athens. I'am also a professional musician and sing in many languages like Spanish, French, English... My practice is the result of 10 years of musical studies in France. I also believe that singing is connected to the body and the way we use it, and become more aware of it. I acquired many tools in order to teach you how to sing your favourite songs in your own free way. I'm convinced that there is not one way to sing "good" : we all have a voice and I am here to help you find it with exercices according to your own needs. With regular practice and a body-based approach, I'am here to guide you on the way to enjoy your voice freely and earn self-confidence and musical enjoyment ! Our teacher using, if necessary, an electro-acoustic guitar to better accompany your voice and guide some of its subtleties, the teaching philosophy is adapted to each level, according to the pace of work and motivation. Hi ! I am Héloïse, a French cellist and singer who lives in The Netherlands since two years. I finished to study at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium in June and am now a professional musician and, among other a cello teacher at the Lindenberg Center in Nijmegen. After teaching music theory for two years in a french conservatory, I realized how much teaching is very important for me and helps me to grow as a musician. I like to adapt to the student and try to find a solution in any pedagogical situation. I can teach all cello and singing levels, and all ages. I can also give some music theory lessons. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. I am a trained singer- songwriter & professional musician with a BA (hons) in Composition. Originally from london I moved to Brussels to do my masters degree. I am a trained singing with a level of grade 8, I have also spent the last 6 years touring as a front women and also a backing singing with various artists around europe, including 1 top 10 artist. I understand that although it's great to have a strong technique it's also about letting go and having confidence in your ability so you can relax in the moment. I welcome students of all levels and all ages and teach a range of genres from Jazz to Rock. Alternatively I am happy to focus on technique if that is something you prefer to work on. My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!
