As a recent graduate from a Master degree in teaching English, with 5 years of experience tutoring French children and students privately. During my two years of master, I taught English to secondary school students. The theory and the practise, allowed me to develop my teaching skills and through tutoring I have learned to tailor my teaching methods to the student’s needs. Moreover, throughout my years of tutoring, I could gave back the confidence that students were lacking in their education, which led to one of my students to obtain her “brevet” equivalent of the English GSCE with a high grade. The success was hinged through the learning material that I created. Indeed, I produced my own lesson plans and I provided weekly progress homework.

As someone who can speak 5 languages fluently, I have over the years grasped the best way to efficiently learn new languages. I have experience working in 2 primary schools, where I had the opportunity to observe other teachers and learn from good practice. Being a firm believer that everyone has a different way of learning, I will urge students to let me know in advance their desired way of learning so I can prepare curated lessons just for them to make the most of our lectures. As a future lawyer, I have experience in advocacy, mooting, public speak and will work towards making students feel comfortable in speaking English.

I am a tutor of Italian and English as a foreign/second language. I had the opportunity to teach in different contexts with multicultural groups of students from many countries and backgrounds. I am a qualified teacher of English as a second language. I prepare lessons for all ages and backgrounds on a daily basis. My journey : - Mention Very Good at the ES baccalaureate - Studied Sociology and Political Science at the University of Geneva - History and Spanish studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), First Class Honours. I help academically and psychologically students in History-Geography, SES and English. I explain the course in detail (if necessary), and we work on the methodology for each event, the organization and the planning of the work to be done. For example, I worked with two students in great difficulty (general average around 7-8 out of 20), and the latter obtained their baccalaureate, one of them with honors. I also worked with another student the previous year, who obtained the mention Very Good (with 19/20 in SES).

The aim of my classes is to focus on conversation as I truly believe that it is one of the most effective techniques. Depending on the level the classes would vary from reading to pronunciation to oral understanding. I am originally french but have been studying in English since the age of 14.

I love the French language and pass this on to my students when I teach. Lots of speaking, listening to everyday conversations in various contexts, French songs, practising grammar and new vocabulary. Suitable for school children or adults.
