Dear friends, My name is Tu Le, a Vietnamese based Classical pianist. I am currently working and studying in Belgium. With more than 20 years of professional trainning from Conservatories around the world, I am here to help you to bring out the best pianist of you. According to each student with a specific range of age (Children, Teenager, Adult,...) / level or skill of yours on playing piano, I will build up a studying program based on your own abilities of studying and make sure that we progressing on that. I mostly work on classical music and pop music, but no hesitate if you have your own choices and preferences.

Customized lessons: Teaching beginning children, beginning adults, or experienced students are completely different experiences that require completely different methods. A constant focus in all cases is to ensure that students learn notation and music reading, which gives them some independence. As a first step, I create a plan together with the student, depending on his or her personal goals, and supplement this with musical pieces that I think will complement the learning path. Practical information: I am available for online classes from August and at home from September 15, but I will not close schedules until the beginning of October. As an experienced saxophonist I like to pass on my knowledge in an adapted, easy way. From the beginning, the focus is on what you want to learn to play yourself. If you do not yet have solfège knowledge, this will be learned while playing the saxophone. In terms of difficulty, I have experience with all levels of saxophonists ranging from young children to retirees who still want to fulfill their dream as a musician. With one it goes a little more smoothly than with the other, but on average you can easily play a first song in less than a month. Lessons can be scheduled very flexibly. I started playing violin at the age of 6, and studying with numerous professors made me realize how important an individualized pedagogical approach is for good development. I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instil a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'.
