If you want to start making your own music, I will be happy to introduce you the basic functions and tools of Ableton live. You will learn how to record, sample and edit your sounds. Together we will work on your first compositions and on how to make them sound better and better. I have a diploma of Advanced studies in Audio Design from Hochschule für Musik Basel, and I am an active musician and performer in fields of Electronic and contemporary music.

My name is Gianni, I'm a professional musician, currently living in Basel and doing my master's degree in double bass at the Musik Akademie Basel. I've been playing and studying music since I was 7 years old; I started with classical guitar, then electric guitar and electric bass, then I started double bass and lately I'm learning saxophone. I would say my main instruments are guitar and bass and I have been teaching these for 5 years to students of different levels and different aspirations. For me it is very important to understand what the student wants and needs to guide him on the best path; I also try to always make the classes a fun learning environment. I could teach at my school - the jazz camps, in Basel - or at the student's home.

I give lessons or music theory support in Basel and its surroundings. All ages and all levels. I like to share my passion in a relaxed atmosphere! I am an oboe, a professional musician and graduated from the Lausanne University of Music in pedagogy.

In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different. Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me. I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.

I am a music pedagogy graduated teacher (master of performance and master of pedagogy in Paris and Basel). Love sharing my passion with others : have a 10 years experience in 2 music schools and high schools in Paris. Am also performing concerts as a pianist and organist. Focus are set on body and technical skills, music theory and knowledge necessary to play all kinds of score or improvise, interpretation and artistic view of the pieces. Patience, positivity, respect and open mind are keys for success. I’m also very attentive to the needs and wishes of every pupil and try to bring you where you want (open with repertoire etc). As a composer and arranger I can also teach you harmony, composition and improvisation in different styles including jazz, songs and pop.

Studying in two different countries with two diferent systems have given a wide perspective of teaching in different ways always thinking on what's best for the students. Piano Unterricht für erwachsene Anfänger und Wiedereinsteiger. Hello , I am an Argentinian/Italian pianist and composer currently in Basel for a master in Jazz Campus. For the last 15 years I have been teaching private lessons and in music schools. I also have experience in group classes, teaching harmony, ear training and improvisation. Although my main focus is Jazz, I have trained classical for many years. I like to help people to relate to the essence of the music and to understand the pieces, in order to be able to perform them better or improvise. Classes are taught in English, German or Spanish.
