Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. For Children I strongly recommend the 45 min class since their attention span and body development is different from an adult. Feel free to contact me in case of further questions. Ses débuts en soliste sont marqués par le Concerto de Bartók avec l’orchestre Pasdeloup à l’âge de 16 ans, suivis de multiples expériences en soliste avec orchestres tels que l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, l’Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine, L’Orchestre de Chambre de Nouvelle Aquitaine, L’Orchestre Colonne... Par ailleurs, Paul a eu pour partenaires de musique de chambre : Renaud Capuçon, Gérard Caussé, Nelson Goerner, Valeriy Sokolov, François Salque, Pierre Fouchenneret, Jérôme Pernoo, Marc Coppey, Adam Laloum, Emmanuel Strosser, Adrien Boisseau, Liya Petrova, Adrien La Marca, Jérôme Ducros, Jérémy Menuhin, Victor Julien-Laferrière, Nicolas Baldeyrou... Il s’est produit notamment au Festival de La Roque-d’Anthéron, au Festival de Pâques d’Aix-en-Provence, de Deauville, et de Colmar, aux Sommets Musicaux de Gstaat, au Festival de la Grange de Meslay, au Centre de Musique de Chambre de Paris, aux Pianissimes, au Festival Idéal au Potager du Roi de Versailles, au Festival Pablo Casals à Prades, avec le Collectif Fractales... En novembre 2021, il est invité par Renaud Capuçon au festival Nouveaux Horizons où il interprète entre autres diverses créations contemporaines dont une œuvre de Diana Soh en duo d’altos avec Gérard Caussé. Il joue régulièrement en duo avec l’organiste Vincent Warnier qui a récemment composé « Légende », œuvre pour alto et orgue dont Paul est le dédicataire. Ils en ont interprété la création en octobre 2020. En 2021, Michel Le Naour lui consacre un article dans le magazine Classica, et en 2022, Benoît Fauchet dans le magazine Diapason. Il apparaît aussi dans d’autres médias comme France Musique, le journal de Radio Classique, Le Figaro, le Grand Échiquier sur France 3, Arte Concert, Ouest-France... Il est invité, en 2021, à l’émission de Philippe Labro sur C8. Il intègre Beau Soir Productions dès sa création, ce qui lui permet de travailler avec Renaud Capuçon et ses équipes. Paul joue sur un alto de Patrick Robin, financé par la Fondation Safran pour la Musique, à l’initiative de l’association TALENTS & VIOLON’CELLES.

Mia is a Montenegrin violinist. She has traveled the world, starting with studies at the University of Music in Montenegro, to China, at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Montenegro, but her desire for discovery took her to other spheres. In the meantime, during her studies in Montenegro, she was invited to participate several times in the Young Euro Classic Orchestra, playing at the Berlin Konzerthaus, with renowned musicians like: Liana Issakadze, Heinrich Schiff, Anreas Reiner. In 2014, she met her teacher Anton Martynov who gave her many opportunities to develop as a violinist, in Paris in France and recently in Belgium. In 2023 she obtained another Master Didactique in Royal Conservatory in Mons, Belgium.

I am currently an intern at the Rheinische Philharmonie State Orchestra. I also perform as a soloist and as a chamber musician. Most recently with the Vratz Symphony Orchestra. I lectured at a music school in Düsseldorf and Velbert and also teach in Essen. I have been awarded first prizes at international competitions several times and regularly perform in classical and jazz/pop formations. Beginners, advanced violinists and aspiring violin students are in good hands with me. All aspects of violin playing such as technique, intonation, register playing, vibrato etc. including compositions from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries are integrated as well as modern styles from the 20th or 21st centuries. Playing the violin should be fun for my students, so in addition to the technique of playing, musical expression is also taught with this versatile instrument. I approach my younger students with creativity and empathy. Ambitious students learn the classical and romantic violin literature required for their studies. If desired, the students can take part in competitions such as “Jugend musiziert”, auditions or Prepared entrance exams at German music universities. I look forward to your inquiry! I am a professional violin and viola teacher based in Zurich, teaching in person at students' location or online, in English, German or Russian. (Reviews below) As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of at all levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ workshops in London and was an assistant on the Primary Arpeggione viola course and at the Springgrove music competition. Toby is an outstanding instructor and works with children very naturally. My 11 year old son has been taking lessons with Toby for over two months and is eager for each lesson. Toby is extremely talented, but beyond that, he engages my son deeply with the music itself, fundamental techniques, music theory, and even the interpretation of the music. Toby is kind, encouraging, and works with students at a level that is appropriate. He has allowed my son to chose music that if fun and interesting to practice, even though the pieces are challenging. In fact, I often sit in to listen to the lessons, as they are so good. My son has had a couple of lessons with Toby while company has been over, and everyone has commented on how amazing Toby is as an instructor. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
