Je suis un étudiant en 2ème année de licence d'Economie, Statistique et Modélisation à la FASEST sur le campus Cité scientifique de Villeneuve d'Ascq et je souhaite me diriger vers l'enseignement et la recherche. Concernant ma méthodologie, je suis persuadée que ce dont manque un élève en difficulté, c'est du temps et de l'attention. Je serais donc là pour cela! Un cours type va se dérouler en 2 parties : - Pendant les premières 30 minutes, on reprend le cours que l'on doit travailler. Cela peut être le cours vu en classe juste avant. Cela peut être également un chapitre précédent. On décide ensemble. Ce moment est très important. Si il faut expliquer 2, 3 ou 4 fois la même chose, on le fait, et j'essaie de trouver des façons différentes de le faire. Le but est de ne surtout pas rester sur quelque chose que l'élève n'a pas compris. - Les dernières 30 minutes sont consacrées à faire des exercices ensemble. Dans les matières scientifiques, il est essentiel de faire des exercices pour acquérir des automatismes mais aussi la méthodologie. - Enfin, je donne en général des exercices à faire entre 2 séances. Il n'est pas obligatoire de les faire mais c'est fortement conseillé. Pourquoi? Car dans les matières scientifiques que j'enseigne, s'exercer pour acquérir des automatismes est essentiel. Mais, me direz-vous, c'est déjà ce que font les profs de mon enfant? Et je vous répondrai oui, en effet. Sauf qu'avec moi, l'élève a toute mon attention, on prend le temps dont il a besoin, on répète le nombre de fois qu'il lui faut pour comprendre. Et surtout, je m'adapte à lui et pas inversement. Pour terminer, je pense qu'il est crucial d'avoir un lien avec les parents. D'une part car, sauf cas exceptionnel, ce sont les parents qui paient. D'autre part, et c'est le plus important, l'élève a besoin d'avoir envie de prendre des cours et les parents jouent un rôle important dans ce processus. Aussi, notre collaboration commencera par une première rencontre qui vous est offerte. Pendant cette première rencontre, j'aime qu'un ou les 2 parents soient présents. C'est l'occasion de se présenter et de définir vos attentes et les besoins. Puis, toutes les 5-6 séances, je tiens à un petit bilan de 10-15 minutes avec l'élève et un ou les 2 parents pour échanger et voir si l'on doit faire des ajustements.
